Location To Onguma Metadata Make Canon EOS 7D IOC Names Order Otidiformes Family Otididae Comments Korhaan is the name given to some of South African bustards. Only the male Black Korhaans, whether Northern or Southern, have a black neck. In both sexes, the back is barred, without chevron-shape markings. The ranges of the Northern and Southern species do not overlap. This bird was photographed in Etosha National Park and is therefore a male Northern Black Korhaan.
